As an Inventory Maintenance Technician, you will assist in monitoring, documenting, identifying, and correcting daily issues. You will have access to the various inventory and warehouse management systems to identify and fix these issues as they arise. You will play a key role in ensuring that our customers receive their medicine on time, providing them with the care and loyalty that they deserve.

When will you work? 

• The hours for this position are Monday – Friday 5:00 am – 1:30 pm. 

What you will do:

• Repackage HD and non-HD bulk raw materials into manageable containers for the GC compounding lab and efficient manner.
• Retrieve all raw materials and supplies needed to repackage materials.
• Ensure deduction of all raw materials and supplies used from the appropriate database.
• Maintain repack inventory of commonly used raw materials and forecast changes to quantities needed to prevent the delay of orders.
• Maintain clean containment booth and tools needed to perform repacks.
• Monitor FIFO procedures and report deviations from procedures to management.
• Interact with management/team members when inventory discrepancies exist or be apparent.
• Interact with various departments/Labs on a regular basis.
• Maintain current inventory of chemicals, devices, and packaging supplies.
• Recommend adjustments to reorder points for chemicals, packaging, and lab supplies, based on consumption, order volume, and lead time of replenishment.
• Comply with Wedgewood’s policies and procedures and all appropriate regulations.
• Support all facets of Wedgewood’s operations as necessary to ensure high-quality customer service, safety, and effective workflow, and continuous improvement within the organization.
• Available to work flexible schedules when needed
• Other duties as assigned.
• Answer inventory questions from lab supervisors
• Track and collect data on repacks to better plan for future repacks

Who you are:

• You take pride in applying diligence, critical thinking, and work with great accuracy and precision
• Independent and focused – you have your eye on the end goal and understand how critical your role is to the distribution of our medicine
• Always show up (on time) with a positive, professional attitude. No exceptions!
• Able to stand for up to 8 hours a day
• The ability to lift and safely move drums up to 100 pounds using wheeled carts.
• The ability to bend, stoop, and twist frequently.
• The ability to properly wear a respirator and prescribed PPE needed to work with HD and Chemo raw materials.

What you have done:

• Obtained a High School Diploma or GED
• Registered with the state of AZ as a Pharmacy Technician
• 1-2 years’ experience as a materials distribution associate or lab/compounding technician
• You have worked in a ‘fast-paced’ environment and really embrace it
• Established strong basic math skills
