As a Material Distribution Manager Level 3 (Senior Manager), located in Huntsville, AL and will support programs within the Missile Defense Solutions Business Unit. You'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one.
The selected individual will have overall management responsibility of the warehouse and material distribution operations for the business unit. Responsible for managing a local team and working with functions on multiple sites and supporting multiple programs.
The following roles/responsibilities should be covered at the BU Level:
• Lead for determining the warehouse model to be utilized in Huntsville, AL and all applicable Northrop Grumman (NG) Colorado locations.
• Provide status on a regular basis to MDS BU Leadership and Functional counterparts concerning warehouse capacity, inventory, and related activities
• Instruct, manage, and supervise personnel within a warehouse concerning supply systems policy and functional procedures.
• Will be designated the owner of BU processes/procedures to ensure generation, review and updates related to warehouse and material management.
• Manage all warehouse space to include regular coordination with all stakeholders on space requirements (ex. shipping, receiving, quality inspections, program planning, etc.).
• Primary POC to drive material related CPAS actions to closure

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience in material management, supply chain, logistics or inventory control. Or, master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience in material management, supply chain, logistics or inventory control.
• 3 years of formal management experience to include performance reviews for direct reports.
• Prior experience leading a team, projects, and processes; ability to lead and motivate others to mentor and ensure others meet complex objectives.
• Proficiency in SAP enterprise resource planning software (or equivalent).
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project).
• Must have an active and current DoD Secret clearance with an in-scope investigation date within the last 6 years.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's Degree in a Supply Chain Management.
• In-depth knowledge/experience managing kitting requirements.
• Experience with briefings leadership.
• Extensive experience in inventory control, stock transfer, and movement of items through the supply chain infrastructure.
• Extensive knowledge of storing and managing inventory with shelf-life requirements and
• tight environmental controls.
• Experience working on classified programs in logistics and distribution.
• Experience supporting complex shipping and logistical requirements.

Salary Range: $129,600 - $194,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
