Entry Level Diesel Technician
Location: Lincoln, AL
Shift: 3rd Shift
Schedule: FULLTIME; Sunday-Thursday, 11 p.m.-7:30 a.m.
Job overview:
- Start your shop career as an Entry Level Diesel Technician in Lincoln.
- Handle routine preventative maintenance on company tractors.
- Complete component replacements and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair minor tractor electrical systems.
- Complete routine rebuilds and replacements.
- Use maintenance software to create and track work orders.
- Communicate status updates with internal customers.
- Utilize forklifts and company vehicles to pick up, load and unload parts from vendors, dealers and suppliers.
- Assist with general shop duties, including cleaning, stocking, managing inventory and tracking repairs.
Skills and qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED.
- Experience with computer systems.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire.
Pay and benefits:
- Additional $1.50 per hour on second and third shift.
