Aquent Studios is looking to hire a Sr Global Communications Specialist catering to EUCAN (Europe and Canada) region for our leading Pharma client. 

Please Note: This is a 40 hours/week role with UK or Ireland business hours of 4 AM to 12 PM EST.  We may consider some flexibility in the hours.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement communications programs and assets based on key regional (above-market) business priorities. This includes: product portfolio communications & issues management, media relations, regional thought leadership communications, EUCAN founders’ engagement around key regional initiatives, and strategic communications around regional milestones. 
  • Engages and supports collaboration with Global Centre of Excellences(COE’s), Global Leadership Communications, Global Partnering & Crisis teams as relevant.
  • Work closely with the Head of Regional Communications, EUCAN, engaging local cluster/market communications leads regarding planning and implementation of key regional activities.
  • Oversee planning and development of integrated external/internal product communications plans based on regional commercial priorities 
  • Collaborate with Global cross-functional partners (Commercial/Marketing Franchise Leads, Medical Affairs, Policy, Medical Legal Review, Legal) to plan and implement regional communications programs
  • Represent EUCAN Communications as appropriate on various brand leadership/strategy teams such as Global Commercial Team meetings
  • Support engagement with third-party organizations including patient advocacy groups, as relevant
  • Manage the regulatory process for EUCAN regional materials requiring review. 
  • Manage agencies and budget. Establish, track and measure program success

Required Skills/Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Product communications/Regional communication preferably in the Pharma/Biotech space. 
  • Pharma/Biotech experience is a must have
  • Proficiency in Veeva PromoMats
  • Strong understanding/experience of the Europe Canada (EUCAN) market
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities
  • A passion for driving impactful Product communications campaigns, within Pharma/Biotech/Healthcare 

Compensation Range: $100 -120K DOE

The range provided is our reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location.
