This position will support our Parkline facility in Hitchcock, TX. As a part of nVent, Parkline is a leading manufacturer of highly engineered metal buildings for industrial and commercial applications. Today, nVent connects and protects our customers with inventive electrical solutions. We design, manufacture, market, install and service high performance products and solutions for mission-critical equipment, buildings and essential processes. Offering both prefabricated and on-site building capabilities, framed and frameless building construction types, and products ranging from build kits and modular units to fully engineered integrated buildings.

Welder I:

MUST HAVE:

  • Ability to perform layouts; material prep channels, beams, and plate, and cut material on saw equipment.
  • Assist in fit up of skids and staging materials.
  • Drilling holes, cutting plate with track torch.
  • Cross train with other departments.
  • Assist journeyman welders.
  • At least 2 years of experience preferred.
  • Conduct housekeeping as necessary.
  • Team Player, ability to work by yourself and with others.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness to ensure quality.
  • Able to multitask and adapt to frequent changes, delays, or unexpected challenges with projects
  • Must availability to work 2nd shift.
  • Must be willing to work overtime, as needed.
