The Town of Wellesley is looking for full-time Water & Sewer Maintenance Workers for the Water & Sewer Division. The incumbent’s primary responsibility is to perform skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled laboring tasks relating to water, sewer and related construction work using manual or power hand tools. The incumbent assists in the inspection, installation, operation, maintenance and repair of the Town's water and sewer infrastructure using construction equipment including class D vehicles, excavators, backhoes, forklifts, power, manual tools and other equipment. The position requires the incumbent to participate in the Town's snow and ice control program and to be available for stand-by, emergency and weekend duties as required. The incumbent must possess a valid MA Class D license. Other requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent; a good employment record; the possession of or ability to obtain a valid a Hoisting Engineer’s License classes 2A and 1C within six months of hire; and the ability to read, understand and follow written and verbal instructions and use hand and power tools. Pay range is $20.82 - $27.96 per hour.
