Job Description:

Position: Validation Engineer

Shift: 3rd Shift (Sunday-Thursday, 10 PM - 7 AM)

• Conduct validation tests on internal combustion engines (ICE) and related components.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including dynamometers, to run engines and collect data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues independently, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Document test results and issues accurately.
• Collaborate with calibrators and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Support an array of engines, including diesel and V8, during validation processes.

• Experience with INCA and/or Puma software.
• Laboratory experience, particularly with running engines and data collection.
• Background in internal combustion engines (ICE).
• Typically 2-4 years of experience in the field.

1. ICE Experience:

• Fundamental understanding of internal combustion engines.

1. Lab Experience:

• Proficiency in running engines and collecting data, particularly using dynamometers.

1. Software Proficiency:

• Experience with INCA and Puma tools.

• Initial training will be conducted on the 1st shift (8 AM - 5 PM).
• Training duration is approximately 4 months to reach full competency.
• Ability to function independently on the 3rd shift is crucial.
• Troubleshooting skills are essential, with a focus on documenting issues and resolving them promptly.
• While the role requires independence, there will be support from calibrators and other team members.

• The role is currently for the 3rd shift, but there may be potential for shift changes in the future.
