Our telecommunications client is looking for an UX Designer to join their team for a 2-month project that may be extended. This is a hybrid position that can be based in NYC or Miami, FL (40 hrs/week). This role does require going to the office three days a week (can work from home on remaining two days).

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled UX Designer to join our dynamic team. The primary objective of this role is to design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance user experience. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in UX design to create engaging digital products that meet user needs and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand user needs and product requirements.
• Design and prototype user interfaces that provide a seamless experience across various platforms.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and improve designs.
• Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups using tools such as Figma and Sketch.
• Maintain and improve design systems and documentation to ensure consistency across products.
• Utilize JIRA for project tracking and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in UX design with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant projects.
• Proficiency in UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and prototyping software.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Strong understanding of design principles and best practices for user-centered design.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
