UI Designer III at Aquent Talent in CA

***PLEASE NOTE: This role is Fully Onsite in Mountain View, CA***

Our client is a well known tech giant, and looking to bring on a UI Designer III. As a UI Designer III, you are a key contributor to the design team, responsible for crafting visually stunning, user-friendly, and highly functional interfaces for our diverse product portfolio (AI, B2B, B2C, consumer products). You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to translate complex concepts into intuitive and engaging experiences. This role requires a deep understanding of design principles and a passion for pushing the boundaries of what is possible.

Develop high level and/or detailed storyboards, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. Requirements: Solid academic background in human-computer interaction or related field. Demonstrated experience in designing usable web-based interfaces. Solid HTML skills. Knowledge of JavaScript for rapid prototyping purposes. Strong visual design sense. Excellent leadership, communication and teamwork skills.

Skill/Experience/Education:
Mandatory –

Experience: 5+ years of experience in UI graphic design, preferably in a technology company setting.
Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional UI design skills and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
Expertise: Experience with industry standard design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InVisio, Figma, Principle, etc.).
Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and strategically.
Passion: A passion for creating beautiful and user-friendly interfaces that delight users.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design (e.g., Interaction, Graphic, Visual Communications, Product, Industrial), Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $67.39 to $74.88 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
