Resp & Qualifications
The department is responsible for the leadership and oversight of CareFirsts Treasury and Investment Function including collaboration with the Lead Asset Manager to optimize investment returns. The candidate will assist the Vice President by executing various task in Investment and corporate cash management.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Support Treasury and Investment Management team in day-to-day activities.
- Collaborate with the Departmental Directors and Managers.
- Interface with Accounting, Legal and other internal customers.
- Contribute to project requirements documentation and manage the project documents.
- Liaise with the project stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Track project milestones and deliverables.
- Support day-to-day activities as assigned.
- Support Cash operations team in the 13-Week Cash Forecast Process.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required:
- Must be a student enrolled in an accredited college or university program
- Looking for rising Junior or Senior
- Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or above.
- Majors: Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to effectively communicate between technical and non-technical project stakeholders
- Effective critical thinking, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic work environment to accomplish assigned tasks
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) and the Internet
- An interest in the healthcare field
Preferred:
- Technical experience in the Healthcare and/or Insurance industry experience is preferred.
- The ideal candidate is someone who can work throughout the year up to 40 hours in the Summer and15-20 hours in the Fall/Spring.
Salary Range: $18,720 - $26,000
