Job Description:
Apex Systems is seeking an Engineering Technician to work onsite in Hazelwood, MO.Great opportunity to get into the medical device space.

Responsibilities:
- Providetechnical test support at an intermediate level.
- Create or modify documents, drawings, parts, BOMs, and finished goods following established procedures
- Read and followwritten protocols andtest methods. Maintaina laboratory notebook. Enterdata into a spreadsheet
- Performbasic statistical analysis using MiniTab (or equivalent statistical software.)
- Perform product testing, follows testing protocols, and selects appropriate test fixtures and set-ups.
- Work under general supervision with instructions given for routine work and detailed instructions given for new work or special assignments.
- Reports directly to a Group Leader or Manager of the group. On a day-to-day basis, this position will work with and at the direction of the groups engineers and senior technicians.
- Collaborate with personnel at other sites as well as with external personnel
- Associate or Bachelor degree preferred (technical degree in functional area)
- 0+ years applicable experience as an engineer
- 2+ years applicable experience as a technician
- Capable of interacting with various job functions to gather information, documentation, approvals, etc. as required for product lifecycle changes.
- Experience with Oracle Agile preferred
- Time management and prioritization skills
- Independently follows agreed upon path, strategy, priority with minimal follow up or one-on-one direction.
- Ability to multi-task in an environment of competing priorities and appropriately reach out to management for help in prioritizing activities/goals.
- Prior experience with report writing anddata statistical analysis
- Capable of writing protocols, test methods, and reports following internal procedure.
- Previous experience with MTS/Instron or similar tensile test machines experience desired.
