Position: Tech Lead (.NET/Azure)
Location: Hybrid in Deerfield Beach, FL
Estimated Duration: 12 Months
Pay Rate Range: $70-80/hr
Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead who can also flex into a Delivery Lead role when needed. This individual will play a critical role in architecting, developing, and delivering modern cloud-based applications on Azure. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in .NET development, Azure cloud technologies, and Agile software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and delivery of cloud-based applications using Azure technologies.
• Provide technical leadership to a team of developers, ensuring best practices in design, coding, and deployment.
• Act as a Delivery Lead when required, managing project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Solution Architects, DevOps, and Security teams in an Agile environment.
• Design and implement modern REST-based APIs and microservices.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Bicep, and ARM templates.
• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and unit testing to ensure high-quality software.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex C# .NET applications using MS Visual Studio.
• Work with NoSQL databases, preferably Azure Cosmos DB.
• Mentor junior developers and promote engineering excellence.
• Collaborate with the QA team, developers, project managers, product managers, and business analysts to review and approve test plans, test cases, and automated scripts.
Requirements:
• Master’s or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field experience.
• 10+ years of .NET programming experience (C# preferred).
• 5+ years of Azure cloud experience with expertise in Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and API Management.
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Must have developed and deployed at least 10 Azure Functions following SDLC best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture, event-driven development, and n-tier architectures.
• Experience with unit testing methodologies, code coverage, and integration tests.
• Proficiency in front-end and back-end business logic implementation (Full Stack).
• Knowledge of data architecture and engineering best practices.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement in solutions, systems, and processes.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
• Familiarity with 3rd-party API integrations and Web UI interactions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex issues.
• Strong initiative and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
