System Security Admin

MUST :
Eligible for Level II Public Trust (current NIH Public Trust highly desired)
5+ years of professional IT experience
3+ years of work experience working in System Security field
Experience building, operating, maintaining and improving current security systems like SCCM, SEIM, CrowdStrike, JAMF and other related systems
Strong experience and understanding of Vulnerability and performing Vulnerability scans and maintainence
Proficient with Network Technologies including network security and monitors tools
Hands on experience with anti-virus applications
Experience working in Linux, Windows and Mac operating systems
Strong communication skills both written and verbal are a must
Strong process-oriented candidate with good documentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with difficult government clients
Active Security+ce or other active relevant security certifications
Degree in IT or Security related field
DUTIES :
Ideal candidate will be on a team charge with providing overall security for their Government client this includes developing, execute and track the performance of system security measures that protect information, network infrastructure and computer operationg systems
Work with both ISSOs and Security team to remediate server and workstation vulnerabilities
Configure, troubleshoot and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware
Identify, define and document system security requirements and recommend solutions to management
Monitor systems for irregular behavior and set up preventive measures
Implement and update company s information security strategy
Work with both ISSOs and Security team for security incidents by ensuring machine remediation and by reporting information as required back to the client
Assist in the implementation of security best practices across the Client s IT environment
Design, update, and modify security documentation
Manage response and remediation activities for penetration tests
