Full Job Description
Location: Parma Health Center
Biweekly Hours: 80.00
Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm

Summary:
Supervises the administrative staff and centralized correspondence staff in the department. Collaborates with personnel to facilitate the accurate and efficient flow of forms and completion for patients throughout the MetroHealth system. Oversees front-end administrative staff in providing patient registration and scheduling assistance. Draws from knowledge of computer applications, organizational and departmental functions, and principles of leadership and education to complete responsibilities. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 2 years of related experience in a healthcare environment. In lieu of degree, 5 years of related experience in a healthcare environment. Strong quantitative skills, including knowledge of personal computers and information systems. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong leadership, teaching, mentoring, and customer service skills. Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team. Evidence of continuing professional self-development. Willing to work assigned job and over-time requirements (i.e. days, evenings, weekends) if needed. Reliable transportation. Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Preferred: Strong management skills. Knowledge of EPIC functionality.
Physical Requirements: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to see computer monitor and departmental documents.
