2025 SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM Purchasing

The LifeNet Health summer internship is a paid ($20/hour) program and includes project work that aligns with our mission Saving Lives, Restoring Health, and Giving Hope. The projects are designed to engage active learning, provide mentor relationships and leadership development over the course of a 10-week program. As a fun bonus, our interns are provided with 8 weeks of golf lessons and a set of clubs to use during the internship program with an end-of-program golf tournament!

The Purchasing internship project will provide you with hands-on experience in a corporate environment where you will be exposed to the multiple functions of the Purchasing team to support the business and drive corporate initiatives.

PROJECT DETAILS/TRAINING:

• You will gain hands-on experience in data management, process optimization, and supplier lifecycle management.
• You will support the implementation of Ariba SLP (Supplier Lifecycle and Performance) by engaging in critical tasks such as data cleansing, SOP creation, performance tracking, and developing communication strategies
• You will work closely with various departments, including procurement, compliance, and IT, to help streamline supplier management processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance supplier engagement.
• You will develop skills in data analysis, process documentation, and cross-functional collaboration

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

* You must be actively pursuing a bachelors degree.

* You must be a rising junior, senior, or a recent graduate pursuing a graduate degree.

* You must be available to commit to the 10-week program (June 2 August 8), full-time, 40 hours/week.
