Job Summary
The Robotics Department is looking for an excellent problem solver to work in the Student Services Office (SSO) to provide primarily administrative support in office activities. The SSO is looking for someone with superior organizational and communication skills, considers themselves to be a self-starter, and can effectively work with a diverse group of faculty and students. Experience with managing accounting spreadsheets and finance tracking and working in a higher education environment is a plus.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
- Assist with graduate admissions administrative, and communication efforts for the Robotics Department in reflection of the department's mission and values.
- Manage the department's involvement with the SURE program and department experiential learning initiatives.
- Attend and keep minutes of Graduate Committee meetings
- Assist with student services activities as part of the Student Services Office (SSO) team
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications*
- Bachelor's degree and two to three years of relevant student services experience or equivalent amount of education and experience
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office and Google suite) and experience with Excel and database programs
- Proven strong interpersonal skills with both faculty and student populations
Work Schedule
Hours will vary between 30-40 hours per week, depending on the department needs.
