Location: Framingham, MA
Duration: 6 months
Hours per week: 40
Hybrid Schedule: On-Site Monday, Wed, Thursday / Remote Tues, Thurs
Rate Range: $34-$36 per hour
Timeline for hire: 1-2 interviews + onboarding, likely mid November
Position Overview
Our client, a major well-known retailer, is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Mid-Level Store Designer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing innovative store designs that enhance the customer experience and reflect their brand identity. You will collaborate with various teams to conceptualize and execute design solutions while managing vendor relationships and ensuring timely delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop store design concepts that align with brand strategy.
- Create detailed fixture designs, signage layouts, space plans and renderings that showcase new store concepts and enhance the overall shopping experience.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure high-quality execution of design elements.
- Utilize software tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Enscape to produce accurate design drawings and renderings.
- Incorporate various design materials and finishes into store concepts to meet aesthetic and functional requirements.
- Prepare and present design proposals and space plans to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in store design.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in retail store design or a similar role.
- Proficiency in design software including Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of fixture design, signage design, and vendor management.
- Experience with space planning and creating renderings is preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
