Do you have what it takes to be a Dental Assistant/Sterilization Technician:
- Completion of a Dental Assisting program required
- Ohio general operator's license in radiology required (X-ray)
- EMR experience preferred
A day in the life of a HSO Dental Assistant/Sterilization Technician:
- Performing decontamination, preparation, sterilization and distribution of dental instruments and equipment
- Accurately handles and cares for instruments appropriately
- Correctly packs instruments, wraps instruments for sterilization, inspects each instrument for use, function, and cleanliness
- Operates all required dental equipment accurately and safely
- Seating patients to assist the Dental Assistants as needed
- Offer assistance to the front office as needed
