Revvity is seeking a qualified candidate to join the Service Team in our Reproductive Health business unit. The individual will be part of a team that supports State laboratories throughout the South Region. After the initial training period is completed, this specific position will be expected to function as an on-site engineer to a single customer site, with infrequent travel amounting to less than 15% overall.
Responsibilities:
The primary duties of the Customer Support Engineer are to install, maintain, verify performance, and repair equipment at the customer site, ensuring best-in-class service.
- Install, Maintain, and Repair all equipment at the customer site.
- Maintain professionalism as an engineer, building a strong relationship and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Respond to repair needs with short notice travel to minimize customer equipment downtime.
- Keep area Team Leader and Area Sales Manager informed of all issues.
- Manage due dates for all Preventive Maintenance Service Orders - Ensuring that all are completed on time
- Manage and complete all Field Service Reports in a same day manner.
- Order and maintain appropriate inventory to support the accounts.
- Accountable for assigned company assets which include: Company vehicle, tools, test equipment, company laptop, company cell phone.
- Complete company assigned training in a timely manner.
- Report potential quality issues via the corrective action process.

Basic Qualifications
- BS/BA in an engineering, life or physical science discipline.
- 2-5+ years of equipment experience performing installations, preventive maintenances, troubleshooting, support and/or end user utilization of scientific instrumentation.
OR
- AS/AA in an engineering, life or physical science discipline.
- 4-7+ years of equipment experience performing installations, preventive maintenances, troubleshooting, support and/or end user utilization of scientific instrumentation.
OR
- High School or GED.
- 6-9+ years of equipment experience performing installations, preventive maintenances, troubleshooting, support and/or end user utilization of scientific instrumentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Automated Liquid Handling, Micro-fluidics, and motion control systems
- Preference for previous Waters or Sciex products (LCMS, MSMS)
- Previous manufacturer-related service experience (Waters, Sciex, Agilent, Thermo)
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex technical issues
- Strong electro-mechanical skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Valid Driver's License
- Valid Passport
- Proficient in MS Office products
