WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Responsible for reporting to all scheduled classes and having lesson plans prepared prior to class start.
- Follows Learn to Skate Program and Learn to Play Program requirements and formats.
- Keeps accurate attendance records on all students.
- Notifies supervisor if any accidents occur and brings the student to the first aid room.
- Completes periodic evaluations for students to ensure proper level assignment.
- Answers parent questions and performs equipment checks as requested.
- Assume additional responsibilities as required.

WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED
Learn to Skate USA membership required. Professional Skating Instructor continuing education preferred.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to envision and propose new methods to perform tasks that support ET&A; take thoughtful risks; and accept new and ongoing initiatives, objectives, and solutions to gain sought-after results.
Ability to anticipate and embrace change; demonstrate willingness to achieve, acquire, and utilize new skills and challenging tasks; and is flexible in changing conditions.
HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK
Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS YOU MAY HAVE
Coaching experience preferred.
