QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to read, write and speak English effectively. Must be able to understand and follow oral & written instructions. Must have a good degree of mechanical and electrical aptitude. Must be a graduate of trade school or possess equivalent training in HVAC field. Must have a MVD license and good driving record. Must be physically able to perform duties required. Must have the technical ability and willingness to progress to higher service representative classifications and work within prescribed shift hours. Must successfully complete company-sponsored training program.
DUTIES:
Turn on, off, set, change or remove meters and service regulators.* Adjust and regulate pilots, burners, orifices, controls and accessories on all gas appliances except central heating and air‑conditioning.* Inspect appliance installations, including services, regulators, meters and conformance to codes.* Performs other miscellaneous Customer Service work as required. May involve handling hazardous waste. Training will be provided by the Company to meet requirements of 40 CFR 265.16.
