Supporting highly technical and customized engineering solutions, the Senior Nuclear Project Manager will oversee scope, schedule, and budget of highly complex engineered projects that help PAR deliver premier custom solutions for material handling equipment including cranes, manipulator systems, and other custom handling equipment solutions. The work you do will ensure the wellbeing of our clients, customers and environment around the world.

With oversight of project execution, you'll use strong credibility in the world of engineering to lead a diverse team of engineers (design, manufacturing, software, and more) to coordinate and maximize team utilization.
Our projects are often custom, so being able to incorporate your technical experience, along with historical data from disparate sources is mission critical. Our customers expect quality, and so do we. As the primary customer contact, your skills in communication, negotiation, and problem resolution will help ensure joint success. Navigating contract compliance, change orders, and delivery, the work you do will bring new opportunities for growth at a global scale.

Our starting rate of pay for this salaried position is targeted at $120,000 – 140,000 annually

* Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent from a four-year College or University
* PMP Certification (preferred)
* 10+ years of Project Planning/Management experience driving large ($10M+) contracts in highly regulated and quality critical industries
* Nuclear industry experience and NQA-1 familiarity
* Experience leading project teams through the project life cycle, from contract award through design, assembly, testing, and delivery
* Highly proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook)
* Ability to develop project plans, schedule projects, and coordinate project completion on time and budget
* Meticulous Scope of Work management along with associated Change Order Management
* Strong negotiation skills
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to travel domestically
* Familiarity with electromechanical systems, hydraulics, mechanical systems, electrical systems and control software
