Overview:
Revvity is a hiring a Senior Financial Analyst who will be a key member of the Life Sciences Finance team, this role will support FP&A activity for Life Science business units. The Senior Financial Analyst will have direct and regular engagement with senior finance and business leadership team members, including the Life Sciences Finance leadership, General Manager, and their leadership staff. This is a hybrid opportunity based at our corporate headquarters in Waltham, MA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own budget process and long-term modelling for Life Science business units
- Own monthly/quarterly forecasting and reporting processes for Life Science business units
- Analyze financial results and variances, provide insightful commentary, and generate content for monthly and quarterly Corporate deliverables and business reviews
- Partner with leadership teams to understand operational drivers, ensure execution of financial commitments; identify and communicate risks, opportunities, and actions for mitigation
- Work with leadership to develop and prepare clear, actionable reporting for business teams; enhance forecasting processes through increased visibility into financial metrics and performance
- Operate as main point of contact for ad-hoc and project-based support as needed for business and finance requests
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years' experience in Corporate Finance or Master's degree in business management, accounting or finance with at least 2 year of experience in Corporate Finance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years' experience in corporate finance for a multi-national, matrixed organization
- 1 year of experience currently active in a multi-national corporation's financial leadership training program
- Experience in the software/technology or life sciences industry is strongly preferred
- Possesses a strong sense of ethics and high level of integrity
- Strategic thinker, self-starter with strong sense of ownership, bias for action and results, always driving improvements, simplification & transparency
- Ability to prioritize, manage expectations, and deliver on commitments
- Ability to communicate, partner, and influence both cross-functionally and in a matrixed environment across all levels of the organization
- Executive presence and ability to work closely with the senior leadership team in a fast-paced environment
- Must be an analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Must be open-minded, team-oriented, collaborative, positive, curious, with a strong passion for business and continuous learning
- Familiarity with Netsuite, HFM, Essbase, TIBCO Spotfire, Salesforce and OpenAir a plus
