Full Job Description

Hourly Range $16-$18.50 an hour plus 10% shift differential.

Hours are Sunday - Thursday 3pm to 11pm.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible to perform Saw set-up and other assigned functions. Ensures that the equipment runs efficiently and that products are free of any defects. Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Follow all standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure that saws are provided with adequate material in order to complete jobs correctly and efficiently.
  • Inspect and measure workpieces to mark for cuts and to verify the accuracy of cuts.
  • Package sample products following specs
  • Willing and able to be trained on Forklift operations.
  • Perform quality checks on products to ensure product is manufactured according customer specifications.
  • Ensure housekeeping duties are performed on the plant floor.
  • Follow all plant safety procedures in order to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
  • Assist other team members as needed.
  • Meet all daily quotas set by manager.
  • Perform additional functions, roles, and duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education:

HS Diploma or GED

1 year related experience.

Basic computer skills.

Ability to read, write, and understand the English language. Basic mathematical proficiency in the addition, subtraction. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions; reading guages and similar measuring devices.
