Your Opportunity as the Sales Analyst-Walmart and Sam's Club (US Retail Sales-Pet Team)

Location: Bentonville, Arkansas (JM Smucker Sales Office)

Work Arrangements: Hybrid (Presence with Purpose Model with a 30% in person expectation)

In this role you will:

• Assist Walmart and Sam's Club Pet SalesTeam in identifying market opportunities
  • Analyze Walmart business using Luminate & Syndicated data
  • Develop analysis that will be leveraged to grow JM Smucker sales at Walmart & Sam's Club
  • Perform weekly Walmart & Sam's Club reporting across the pet portfolio
  • Support Sales team with Join Business Planning, Line Reviews, New Item tracking, Modular tracking, & adhoc requests
  • Develop recommendations with respect to product distribution, promotion, pricing, and shelf-placement
  • Prepare clear and concise analyses & presentations
  • Assist sales team with internal shipment forecasting & trade promotion planning
• Participate in training activities to enhance job performance and personal growth.
• Conduct market visits that include:
  • Sales meetings
  • Retail audits
  • Account calls
  • Business planning sessions
  • Information & technology training
• Work with Brand & Shopper Marketing in weekly reporting of new product launches and promotions
• Work with Category Management on special projects
• Assist Replenishment Manager to ensure that all products are at acceptable instock levels

What we are looking for:

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Demonstrated strength in written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn and quickly adapt to additional internal support systems.
• Syndicated sales data software experience (IRI/Nielsen)
• Strong analytical skills

Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:

• Experience working with Walmart and/or Sams Club
• Experience working with Walmart systems such as ATLAS, Crisp or Luminate
• Ability to relocation for future growth opportunities
