Adapt Integrated Health Care is looking for a Youth Residential Assistant to join their team!

The Residential Assistant position provides the bulk of the direct individual supervision and day-to-day care. The primary objective is the maintenance of a safe environment for the individuals and staff.
Primary Responsibilities;
- Provide transportation to authorized functions.
- Enforce residence schedule and rules as well as chart and log activities and events that occur while on duty.
- Provide minimum emergency intervention as appropriate.
- Act as receptionist and provide information to residents and outside callers.
- Monitor and chart medications; monitor supplies and recommend requisition of same.
- Adhere to schedule as written and attend all required meetings.
- Supervise family visits and recreational activities.
- Provide a stable environment for adolescents who suffer with mental health and chemical dependency issues and assure safety and appropriate behavior.
- Assist individuals with therapeutic assignments.
- Additional duties may be assigned as required by clinical staff.
- All staff is expected to be knowledgeable of and adhere to the department policies and agency policies.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess a valid Oregon Driver’s License.
- Skilled in written and verbal communication, leadership of a diverse staff, and the provision of accessible treatment-based services.
- Interest in Human Services is preferred.
