The School of Social Work at the University of Michigan seeks a full-time Research Coordinator for a federally funded project (empower-at-home.com). This is a term-limited position. This is intended for a junior position. Funding for this position is available through Aug 2027. This project focuses on implementing and evaluating an online psychotherapy program for older adults in community settings. The Research Coordinator will work closely with the principal investigator, a senior full-time project coordinator, a part-time research staff, and community agency partners to ensure the smooth operation and success of the project. Responsibilities will include conducting screening and recruitment calls, collecting data through telephone-based surveys and qualitative interviews, coordinating study visits, conducting clinical assessments, conducting friendly calls, and shipping study materials. Other duties may apply to meet the project needs.

Required Qualifications*
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, public health, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with research projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project needs.
Desired Qualifications*
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, public health, or a related field.
- Experience working with older adult populations.
- Experience in qualitative data analysis.
- Experience with human subjects research and familiarity with IRB protocols.
- Prior clinical project management experience is highly desired.

School of Social Work - Work Hours: Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, with flexibility of start or end time within this time frame. You are expected to work 8 hours a day, with a 30 or 60-minute unpaid lunch break. You will have an office at the School of Social Work building. Hybrid work is permitted with supervisor approval (3 days in-person and 2 days remote max), but fully remote work is not allowed for this position.
