Responsibilities*
The successful candidate will work on projects performing analysis of fMRI neuroimaging data acquired during a fear learning and extinction task in people with a history of trauma exposure (both with and without PTSD), with corresponding psychophysiological data acquired during the task. Potential opportunities exist for multimodal data analysis including PET neuroimaging data. Responsibilities will include leading data acquisition during the fear learning and extinction task, pre-processing and analysis of fMRI data, in addition to developing their own research ideas and projects.
Required Qualifications*
- Ph.D. degree in neuroscience, clinical psychology, biomedical engineering, or equivalent disciplines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively with a diverse research team
Desired Qualifications*
- Established record of peer-reviewed scientific publication
- Prior experience with the acquisition and/or analysis of psychophysiological data is a plus.
- P experience with neuroimage data analysis is a plus
