Job Summary
A clinical post-doctoral position is open to work with Dr. Shruti Mishra within the Michigan Institute for Imaging Technology and Translation (MIITT) in the Department of Radiology at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA. Applicants will work within MIITT in collaboration with the Neuroimaging Core of the Michigan Alzheimer Disease Research Center (MADRC).
The clinical post-doc will be involved in research projects related to studying advanced MRI biomarkers in Alzheimer disease and related dementias. The candidate will get the opportunity to learn about, analyze, and perform statistical analyses on a variety of imaging methods including, but not limited to, multi-shell diffusion MRI, perfusion imaging using arterial spin labeling, and quantitative T1/T2 mapping and MR fingerprinting. The candidate will be expected to perform post-processing and analysis of MRI data and perform statistical analyses. Opportunities for abstract presentation in national meetings and preparation of manuscripts will also be available.
Additional responsibilities could include participating in study participant screening and recruitment, and operation of a MRI scanner data, data acquisition and analysis.
The candidate will have the opportunity to participate in a number of educational and professional development opportunities including attending weekly MIITT group meetings, monthly Neuroimaging Core meetings and monthly MADRC seminars. The interested candidate may also spend time shadowing clinically with Dr. Mishra.

Responsibilities*
70%: Processing image data, performing statistical analyses
10%: Participant screening and recruitment and data collection at the MRI scanner

Required Qualifications*
Applicants should have an M.D. or related doctoral degree.
Previous experience working with imaging data analysis including with imaging software toolboxes in MATLAB, python, and bash are a requirement.
Additionally, it is essential that applicants have excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, problem solving skills and leadership qualities.
