Job Summary
This position will contribute to the release of GMP products by performing bioassays to test recombinant proteins. The main responsibilities include bioassay testing, bioassay troubleshooting, preparing documents following good documentation practices. Additional responsibilities include culturing mammalian cell lines, isolating primary cells, and maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies. This position requires attention to detail and careful GMP documentation skills.

Essential Functions

- Perform bioassays following established protocols.
- Contribute to troubleshooting, optimization and validation of bioassays.
- Perform data analysis and prepare verification reports.
- Maintain cell lines using sterile cell culture technique.
- Isolate primary cells.
- Use good documentation practices to carefully record experiments and prepare progress reports.
- Other projects or responsibilities as may be required.
Minimum Qualifications - Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Science (Biology, Immunology, or other related discipline)
- 2 years of academic or industry laboratory experience
- 1+ year of experience with tissue culture of mammalian cell lines
Preferred Qualifications - Education and Experience
- Master's degree in Science (Biology, Immunology, or other related discipline)
- Experience in primary cell cultures
- 2 years of experience in performing bioassay
- Outstanding organization and communication
- Highly motivated and a good team player
- Familiarity with basic lab equipment and knowledge of lab safety protocols
The base salary range for this full-time position is $26.44 --$30.41/Hour. (Research Associate II pay range will be $30.00 - $33.00/Hour) . This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
