Reporter II Salary Range: $19.10 To $22.29 Hourly Adams Publishing Group is seeking a full-time reporter to cover local government and community news in our Mount Vernon, Washington office. The ideal candidate is a collaborative self-starter who can work independently and has demonstrated skill as a reporter, writer and photographer. Candidates with at least two years' experience are preferred, but recent college graduates and individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, daily deadline work environment are encouraged to apply. Adams Publishing Group produces news publications that serve readers who want useful, local content. We need stories about our neighbors, our businesses, our governments and local trends. Qualifications include a degree in journalism or professional reporting experience. Skills desired include photography, social media, an understanding of open records laws and the ability to get sources to speak freely, whether thats a government official or a reluctant feature story subject.
