Are you our next Regulatory Specialist?
The Regulatory Specialist will assist the regulatory team of Mosaic Biosciences in obtaining and maintaining permits, registrations, and licensing for our microbial fertilizer and biostimulant products in North America. This position will play a key role in helping to maintain our freedom to operate in the U.S. and ensure our overall business runs smoothly. The position requires pro-activeness, organizational skills, and experience in the agricultural industry. This position will report directly to the Regulatory Manager.
What will you do:
Report monthly, quarterly, and annual tonnage of registered products.
Submit and track licensing renewals.
Liaise with stakeholders for forms, billing, and payment.
Assist with USDA permitting and organic certifications as needed.
Interact professionally with regulatory agencies and internal customers.
Adapt to changing priorities and timelines to support the regulatory team and broader Mosaic Biosciences goals.
Maintain regulatory documentation in hard copies, databases, and shared inboxes.
Provide organizational support for the Durham office by collecting mail and handling shipments, managing supply inventory, liaising with facilities management, and assisting with internal event planning as needed.
What will you need:
Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural, biological, or environmental sciences.
1-3 years in agriculture, biotechnology, or environmental roles.
Self-motivation with excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Understanding of agriculture chemical or biotech industry and how these products are registered preferred.
Proficiency in MS365 (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint)
Any experience with Smartsheet, Concur, or QuickBooks preferred
