The Regional Advisor Consultant (RAC) plays a crucial role in the team and sales distribution efforts at New York Life Investments. The RAC is responsible for crafting business plans and developing sales strategies to nurture and expand existing relationships while identifying and securing new business opportunities in their territory. This role is key in driving sales growth and achieving set targets. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sales strategy, investment processes, and relationship-building, exhibiting strong attention to detail, effective follow-up skills, and professionalism. Moreover, the RAC must possess excellent presentation skills, a high level of enthusiasm, and a competitive drive for success.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate on Strategic Planning: Work alongside the Divisional Sales Manager and Business Intelligence to develop a business plan that enhances market share, asset growth, and profitability within the assigned Edward Jones territory.
- Engage in Lead Generation & Opportunity Identification: Partner with the marketing team to cultivate leads and identify new business opportunities, utilizing a blend of in-person and digital engagement strategies.
- Present Solutions Effectively: Deliver compelling presentations of New York Life Investment products and services to advisors, ensuring they understand the competitive advantages of the offerings.
- Attend Industry Events: Be available to participate in conferences, seminars, and other industry events as needed to stay connected and informed.
- Provide Technical Expertise: Offer advisors in-depth technical insights into the competitive landscape, financial markets, and other relevant industry topics.
- Territory Travel: Travel within the assigned territory as required to meet with clients and achieve sales objectives.
- Liaise Across Departments: Serve as a key connector between the sales, marketing, and business intelligence teams to optimize intelligent distribution strategies.
What You'll Bring:
- Location & Travel: Must reside in the assigned territory and be willing to travel as needed.
- Experience: Previous experience working with Edward Jones advisors in a client-facing role is required.
- Skills: Exceptional organizational, communication, and presentation abilities.
- Licenses & Certifications: Series 7 and 63 licenses are mandatory. Advanced industry certifications are preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, and Tableau.
- Sales & Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of MainStay mutual funds, IQ ETFs, and related products, as well as sales and marketing strategies that drive business outcomes.

Pay Transparency
Salary Range:$75,000 (plus target sales incentive)
Overtime eligible:Exempt

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
