The Recovery and Resolution Planning Analyst works closely with teammates in Corporate Treasury, in the preparation and development of Truist’s recovery and resolution plans.
The Recovery and Resolution Planning Analyst will engage with stakeholders throughout the enterprise to source key data elements necessary to meet regulatory requirements.


Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

Develop and distribute data element templates for the population of financial, organizational, and narrative components of the recovery and resolution plans.

Develop relationships with key stakeholders across the enterprise, advising on applicable recovery and resolution planning rules and regulatory guidance.

Manage and facilitate workstreams related to data sourcing, capabilities enhancements, and quality assurance.

Monitor and advise on regulatory developments by staying abreast of supervisory guidance (e.g., Supervisory and Regulation Letters) and industry publications applicable to recovery and resolution planning.

Develop and perform key controls, including sampling and testing of datasets that feed the recovery and resolution plans.

Develop and maintain necessary governance documentation including policies and procedures, controls, and process flows.

Perform these and other duties, including work on multiple projects as assigned, independently and with minimal supervision.


Required Qualifications:

  • College Degree in accounting, economics or finance or equivalent education and related training.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to lead and manage projects independently as well as in a team setting.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and other MS Office applications.
  • Conceptual ability to analyze problems and devise solutions, including quantitative analysis and research skills.
  • Knowledge of VBA, SAS, or other data automation applications.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a team environment and multi-task on multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent education, e.g. MS Economics or Finance and / or working towards CFA designation
  • One to two years of experience in Corporate Finance, e.g. Treasury, FP&A, Accounting.
  • One to two years of experience reading and interpreting banking regulations.
