Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and motivated RF Technician to join our team and play a crucial role in preparing law enforcement, fire, and/or utility vehicles for duty. As an RF Technician you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining a wide range of specialized equipment and systems and ensuring they meet operational requirements and safety standards. Your expertise will contribute directly to the functionality, efficiency, and safety of equipment used to serve and protect our communities.
This position is based out of Waterloo, Iowa, with the majority of work focused on supporting the Waterloo and Decorah service centers. While the primary responsibilities are local, it is recommended that the technician be prepared for short trips to support operations and training across Iowa, Wisconsin, and the Central Region as needed.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

  • Diagnose and repair equipment/systems.
  • Respond promptly to customer needs in a positive, supportive and timely manner.
  • Communicate job progress to supervisor & customer.
  • Complete service orders.
  • On-Call customer support

Basic Role Requirements

  • Associates degree in Electronics or a related field, or several years of comparable technical experience.
  • Knowledge of basic electronics.
  • Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Networking experience preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite programs.
  • Positive attitude and desire to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license.

Expected salary range does not include quarterly bonus and other benefits
