Responsibilities*
Procurement
- Process Pathology/MCTP orders (forms/carts) on a daily basis
- Obtain order confirmations and provide order status to lab managers
- Troubleshoot orders
Monitor Pathprocurement & Pathreimbursements email groups
- Process staff reimbursements
- Process faculty reimbursements
- Respond to inquiries
- Process invoices
- File receipts (on network and/or attach in eRecon)
Process Unfunded Agreements
Process Service Unit Billing Uploads on a monthly basis
- Pathology Flow Cytometry Core
- MPRL
- Brightfield Slide Scanning
- Pathology Clinical Core Lab
- Tissue Core
- Aperio Slide Scanning
Investigate and resolve Open PO Encumbrances
- Work with PIs, lab staff, and procurement to inactivate outstanding POs (i.e. open more than 90 days)
Miscellaneous duties as assigned
Required Qualifications*
- 4+ years of experience
- Ability to work with a diverse group of faculty and staff and effectively communicate
- An understanding of university purchasing guidelines and policies
- Knowledge of the University's purchasing system and other related systems
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills are required
- Ability to work independently
- Must possess strong organizational skills and computer and data management knowledge

Modes of Work

Background Screening
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
