JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Manager, Compliance & Analytics, this role is responsible for providing department support by performing task including, but not limited to, such as data analysis, generating metrics, generating charts and graphs general system maintenance tasks, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports Manager, Compliance & Analytics metrics tracking and maintaining data
- Assist Buyers with business initiatives and analyzes information related to Supply Chain
- Continuous improvement projects within the Purchasing Department
- Supports efforts around compliance and risk management
- Maintains files & documentation to support business and ISO certification
- Supports efforts for compliance documents such as Buy America & USMCA
- Perform other related duties as assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
- Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Word and Power Point
- Must be organized and able to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with both internal and external customers
- Maintain strong relationships with internal customers
EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field preferred
- 2+ years’ experience working in Purchasing support role, or similar field preferred
- Previous experience with various business systems; Microsoft Office, ERP & Data management
WORK CONDITIONS:
- Periodically required to work for more than the standard 40-hour week, due to production deadlines and daily workload.
- Evening and weekend work may be needed to support extended production work hours.
