Full Job Description
Our client, a Fortune 500 CPG company, is hiring a Project Manager to join their team for 18 months, 40 hours per week.
Opportunity to convert.
Work schedule is onsite Mon-Thur, work from home, Fri.
The Project Manager will develop, own, and communicate holistic project timelines to internal & external teams on a regular basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Project & Process Management:
o Creation & management of all project timelines
o Organize & setup of kickoffs, collaborations & presentations
o Lead both internal & brand status meetings
o Lead daily standup meetings (Kanban)
o Manage and recommend process optimizations using agile principles
o Act as cross-functional hub for all project executions, partnering closely with internal & external partners to ensure overall project success with multiple internal/external stakeholders
o Manage production phase of most projects, once key creative and copy has been approved
o Ability to consider the full scope of projects, beyond managing timelines, but considering how the pieces work together
o Ability to think strategically about communications and the implications of choices being made, so as to participate and add to a conversation regarding the consumer journey/experience
o Takes ownership of project efficiency; Understands project processes and how to flex
o Understands multiple aspects of production from print, digital, experiential & content. Including format, sizes, and overall ensuring the proper asset
o Share ways to instill learnings within the department and across disciplines
Financial:
o Open jobs utilizing agency software tools
o Work with account leads to accurately scope project jobs
o Issue POs to external vendors Agency
Client Service:
o Demonstrate working knowledge of internal & external partner processes
o Management of all production related requests from the internal team, clients, or meta- agency partners
o Gather and vet specs to ensure project accuracy
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3 years in a Marketing/Advertising agency as a Project Manager
- Understand multiple aspects of production from print, digital, experiential and content
- Demonstrated ability of past contributions to client businesses in agency service environment
- Proficient in managing high volume, quick turn projects
SOFTWARE/TOOLS
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Experience with Project Management and Agile tools
- Knowledge of Content Hub and/or VR
SOFT SKILLS
- Excellent leadership, communication, organization, & time management skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Thoroughness and attention to detail
- Exhibits a helpful, pro-active attitude
