JOB SUMMARY: The Project Manager is responsible for leading, planning, coordinating, and implementing client projects and designated department projects according to the identified specifications, deadlines, and budgets. The project manager drives the operationalization and execution of all assigned projects and follows the established project management methodology to define project charter and objectives, create schedules, and provide oversight throughout the entire project.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Operations Management

  • Leads assigned resources to complete projects on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Organizes and manages all phases of the project to ensure on-time completion.
  • Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.
  • Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.
  • Conducts risk assessments to identify potential risks and takes measures to mitigate them before they can negatively impact the project.
  • Reports identifies risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate). Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
  • Communicates and collaborates with sales and marketing teams to provide training and information required to promote and sell new projects, programs, and systems.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
  • Develops, maintains, and revises project charters for assigned projects including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing.
  • Sets and tracks project milestones; manages and accounts for unforeseen delays, then realigns schedules and expectations as needed.
  • Collects, analyzes, and summarizes information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.

Customer Service

  • Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
  • Establishes and implements project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, which may include Computer Science, Business, or Engineering, required.
  • At least three (3) years of related experience required.
  • PMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications required.
  • Project management and leadership skills for managing projects and the teams involved with them.
  • Computer skills and in-depth knowledge of different operating systems and core Microsoft Technologies. Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and management and explain technical issues.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to handle any issues that occur during project completion.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time to keep projects on track and within budget.
  • Excellent resource planning and task scheduling skills. Proven track record managing a diverse technology group in a fast-paced and customer-focused team environment
  • Outstanding ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft software, and a desire to learn about cloud and computer networks.
  • Outstanding communications and customer relations skills.
  • Excellent documentation management skills.
  • Willingness to go "above and beyond" to exceed customer expectations.
  • Effective client-facing interpersonal skills; comfortable and effective at acting as a liaison between multiple technology groups.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Works well under stress, pressure, and deadlines.
  • Thrives when working with clients and provides exceptional service.
  • Well-organized, self-directed team player.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT: The majority of work is performed in a professional office setting with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities, and abilities. Some travel will be required a few times a year to various hotels throughout USA and Canada.
