Job Description:
Apex is currently searching for a Technical Product Owner to work for a large transportation client in the DFW area. This role will be a long-term 12+ month W2 contract and expected hours are Monday-Friday 8-5. Candidate needs to be local to the area as there will be one week each quarter for collaboration days in office. Rate expected at $65-70 an hour W2.

Responsibilities:- Technical Oversight: Ensure that the product meets technical requirements and aligns with the overall business objectives.
- Backlog Management: Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the most valuable features are developed first.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between the development team and other stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Product Vision: Help define the product vision and roadmap, ensuring it aligns with both technical capabilities and business goals.
- Feature Prioritization: Work closely with the development team to prioritize features and ensure timely delivery.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality of the product, ensuring it meets the required standards and specifications.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of software development, architecture, and engineering principles.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile and Scrum frameworks, often holding certifications like Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate the development team.
