PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The Product Manager is responsible for supporting reagent and consumable product initiatives from concept through commercial launch, while fully supporting the stage gate process with R&D. The Associate Product Manager will deliver reagent and consumable products for Revvity Cell Counting customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate customer needs (external and internal customers including sales, engineering, production, marketing, service and support) to system requirements
Support technical documentation generation for internal and external users in conjunction with the Technical Writer
Participate in the validation of hardware, software and consumables to defined technical specifications
Manage timelines for the commercial release of new products to the market. Working closely with Product Development, Sales, Service and Support
Conduct market research, collect and analyze competitive intelligence and stay informed of industry and customer trends.
Conduct quantitative analysis of product data and metrics to inform product decisions.
Assist in the development of the product roadmap by gathering product requirements, developing and prioritizing product features, and managing the product backlog for future product releases.
Identify new product opportunities and drive alignment across the organization.
Provide planning and project management support for product launches.
Coordinate with R&D/Engineering to ensure we deliver functional solutions to the market while maintaining a customer centric approach.
Coordinate with Marketing to support marketing research projects, customer and field communications as well as development of analytics to support decision making.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
5+ years' experience in product management.
OR
Master's degree
3+ years' experience in product management.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior medical device industry work experience.
Marketing, Engineering or business-related degree with strong technical skills
Fluency with outcome-driven innovation and gated approach to lifecycle management
Strong project management skills
Skilled in interfacing directly with clinical and operational customers
Analytical and problem-solving mindset
Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person and remotely
Business acumen and analytical skills required to make sound holistic decisions.
Able to take initiative; excellent time-management, prioritization, sense of urgency, problem prevention, and problem-solving skills
