Job Summary
Position supports value creation, strategic sourcing and process improvement initiatives across Procurement to optimize Point32Health spend. The ideal candidate will possess: 1). 1-3+ years of experience participating in strategic sourcing and operational/value generating initiatives 2). knowledge across various sourcing categories 3). strategic, analytical, and interpersonal skills to act as a change agent 4) ability to collect, clean, analyze, and interpret data sets in order to answer questions, solve problems, and provide insights that support business decisions.Analytical skills, business acumen, communication skills, and the ability to work with analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, etc.) are also critical.
Key Responsibilities/Duties – what you will be doing
- Conduct analysis in Excel, Tableau, and other tools to support procurement activities including spend analytics, budget analysis, bid analysis, etc.
- Leverage spend analytics to identify consolidation opportunities; understand total cost of ownership and cost drivers, analyze product/service specifications to identify rationalization opportunities; analyze demand and spend to identify patterns and reduction opportunities.
- Analyze market intelligence to build business cases and cost models to identify and quantify improvement opportunities for both sourcing and non- sourcing – e.g., demand management, process improvements, insource vs. outsource, etc.
- Assess supplier capabilities and identify new sources of supply.
- Develop sourcing strategies based on baseline data, market dynamics and business requirements.

- Analyze complex bidding and award scenarios leveraging multi bid analysis model to facilitate fact-based supplier selection.
- Supports negotiation strategy development and execution
- Work with suppliers and key stakeholders to manage supplier performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.

- Develop, produce, and deliver supplier information and metrics to all levels of management via scorecard management program, thereby ensuring SLAs and/or KPIs are met.
- Track and properly allocate procurement savings and costs
- Track and manage reporting for all Tier I and Tier II diverse supplier spend
- Design and manage various spend and performance dashboards via Tableau (e.g., spend analytics, operational performance, supplier performance, etc.)
- Ensure various procurement tools and systems are operational – manage bug fixes or data edits as required for contracting system, supplier scorecard system, spend system, etc.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
- Responsible for delivering project reports, including developing various report formats, dashboards, presentations and others, as required
Qualifications – what you need to perform the job
Education, Certification and Licensure
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain, Business, STEM) preferred
Experience (minimum years required):
- 1-3 years of relevant experience e.g., consulting, procurement, supply chain
Skill Requirements
- Strong analytics skills; deep use of Excel
- Strong problem-solving skills and work ethic
- Ability to understand the impact of accurate data
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
- Previous experience with Tableau, PowerBI, Oracle, Sharepoint preferred but not required
