Our global industrial manufacturing client based in the Dallas area is looking for a REMOTE, freelance Presentation Designer / Strategist to start as early as next week with one project. Future work will be on a project-by-project basis. For this first project, the Presentation Designer / Strategist will work on an internal strategy deck that needs a more branded, consistent design facelift as well as recommendations and execution on how to make the text-heavy document more succinct and flow better.  We are looking for a true strategist who can quickly understand each deck's technical content, business purpose, audience, etc. as well as produce stellar designs.  Later projects will be more high-profile and customer-facing. The client is looking to work with someone long-term as they expect more and more presentation requests to come their way!  Presentation Designer / Strategist Responsibilities- Make decks more visually appealing, applying brand standards and modernizing the look and feel - Strategize with client on optimal presentation, organization and visual representation of content to ensure logical flow, succinctness, clarity and consistency across the deck - Partner with Directors and other stakeholders to gather information and content needed to deliver work - Help improve master template design and structure - Consult with client on requirements, purpose and design / strategy of each deck - Start with a range of provided content - from a rough outline to a raw deck - Manage projects, proactively communicating milestones, updates, status, etc. to client - Partner with internal brand leaders to ensure decks are on-brand Presentation Designer / Strategist - Portfolio of corporate decks showcasing end-to-end design and strategy - must be able to talk to methods and examples - Ability to design and create strategies for decks from either a rough outline or a raw deck - Expert PowerPoint - Own computer and software
