40Summary:
The Practice Manager II facilitates teamwork and department pride by advocating for an environment that promotes high patient care standards and implements processes to ensure customer satisfaction. The Practice Manager II has the authority, accountability, and responsibility for the management of clerical and clinical staff. Areas of responsibility will include personnel management, staff development and positive customer relations. Demonstrates sound judgment and appropriate decision making abilities. Thoroughly understands and monitors financial performance of the unit/department.
Education and Experience:
3 years managerial experience in an outpatient medical, multi-provider, ambulatory or behavioral health clinic
OR
1 year experience in a medical or behavioral health billing service AND at least 3 years managerial experience AND a working, up-to-date knowledge of general office procedures and general business accounting
OR
Bachelors degree in management, business or healthcare administration AND 3 years of supervisory experience
OR
Masters Degree in Mental Health, Counseling, or related degree AND 3 years managerial experience AND a working, up-to-date knowledge of general office procedures and general business accounting
OR
Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration
Certification/Licensure:
Maintain BLS as defined in area of practice
