Full Job Description
Planner I The Town of Winter Park is recruiting a Planner I to provide planning support services for current and long-range planning projects. The Planner I is responsible for assisting in subdivision reviews, rezoning applications, landscape plan review, and architectural design review. Strong written and oral communication skills, and meaningful customer service practices will contribute to success in the position. Reporting to the Community Development Director, the position will work with the planning department to provide direction on projects, implement the development review process, and maintain scheduled applications. A Bachelors Degree in Urban Planning, Environmental Science or related field of study and two years of planning experience in a municipal setting is desired. A combination of education and experience may be considered. The salary range is currently $62,543 to $87,560 dependent on qualifications. A listing of benefits can be found here wpgov.com/jobs.
