Physical Security Enablement IVJob Summary
Calling all tech-savvy superheroes! We're seeking a Physical Security Enablement Engineer extraordinaire to join our dynamic team. As the master of repairs, maintenance, and complex installations, you'll be the go-to guru for our cutting-edge Access Control System (ACS) and Video Management System (VMS) in our state-of-the-art Data Centers. Not only will you provide top-notch support and mentorship, but you'll also be the hero who swoops in to save the day when incidents arise.
Responsibilities
Inspect, maintain, and repair Access Control System (ACS) and Video Management System (VMS) in Data Centers
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on infrastructure and security devices
Assist the Team Lead in coordinating projects and maintenance requests to minimize downtime
Complete site logs and gather data for permits
Respond quickly to on-site incidents and provide support to on-site staff
Collaborate effectively with internal and external departments and contractors
Manage workload efficiently and professionally
Adapt and respond quickly to failed devices and triage multiple issues
Travel locally between sites as required
Support security installations, de-installations, and customer installs
Handle non-standard work requests for security custom orders
Support reporting requirements and audit requests
Develop and distribute Request for Proposals (RFPs) for security infrastructure projects
Resolve security-related issues for local security by following policies and procedures
Support critical security infrastructure operations
Assist with customer-facing support requests and coordinate with vendors
Coordinate with site management for third-party audits
Recommend new methods and procedures for assignments
Analyze and maintain security drawings and documentation
Assist security stakeholders in maintenance activities
Qualifications
High school diploma
2-4 years of relevant work experience with physical security installation
