Will analyze performance results to identify bottlenecks and suggest optimizations, participate in discussions and planning with development and will design and implement overhead, scalability, stability, and stress tests using industry standard tools and developed software.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience
- Requires experience in large UNIX systems environment, with Windows platform and/or Linux experience is key.
- Customer facing application and infrastructure integration design and programming experience required.
- Excellent design/architecture skills for transactional, messaging, or batch applications.
- Extensive experience with Oracle cluster technology, partitioning configuration, slanted towards performance, tuning and scalability.
- Systems Administrator experience with UNIX / SOLARIS / LINUX OS relative to SHELL scripting, VMSTAT, SAR and Statspack.
- Experience with performance testing methodology, such as volume, soak and response time tests.
- Demonstrated ability to build or configure tools to conduct performance tests.
- Strong overall architectural understanding of large systems development with a focus on performance.
- Good working knowledge of operating systems, databases and programming languages (both procedural and object).
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $49.92 to $55.47/Hourly (W2). Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
