Description:
The Behavioral Health Counselor will be responsible for evaluating and determining courses of treatment for their assigned clients from the MAT Program
1. To be able to assess the clients need for Therapy.
2. Design a treatment plan to meet the need of the client.
3. Be able to diagnose the client and follow through with required paperwork of the program as follows:
A. Fully written assessment of the client.
B. Complete diagnosis using DSMIV protocols.
C. Use the ICDM9 for primary diagnosis for billing purposes
D. Maintain patient records, according to Clinic protocols.
4. Attend case conferences with the MAT Team
5. Maintain knowledge of community resources and programs and make appropriate referrals as required for both BH and OUD Services
6. Establish Goals and Objectives that are consistent with achieving and maintaining
Abstinence from Opioids.
Requirements:
1. The Behavioral Health Counselor must possess a current and active license as an LMFT, LCSW or Psychologist to practice counseling in the State of California or be a registered LCSW/MFCC intern with the California Board of Behavioral Science Examiners.
2. Must demonstrate recent experience in a Behavioral Health and/or agency setting.
3. Demonstrated experience in SUD/OUD preferred
Compensation details: 41-47 Hourly Wage
