Position Overview
Our client is seeking a creative and talented ONSITE Graphic Designer to join their team in Sunrise, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design within the consumer goods sector, particularly in the toy and kids industry. This role will focus on creating visually appealing designs that enhance brand and product packaging, while ensuring alignment with marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and create packaging for a variety of consumer goods, particularly toys and products for children (keywords: toy packaging, kids, candy, confection, bright packages, colorful aesthetic, trendy)
- Develop print designs for promotional materials and in-store displays to ensure brand consistency and appeal.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality designs.
- Required software proficiency is Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator to create innovative graphics and layouts that meet product specifications.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends and best practices in graphic and print design to keep our products competitive.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and printers to ensure quality control during the printing process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a graphic designer, with a focus on packaging and print design in the consumer goods sector, this is a must have and portfolio and resume must reflect consumer goods experience.
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual arts, or related field preferred.
- 5+ experience working in graphic design printing for retailer in-store displays.
- Strong knowledge and experience in using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
- Experience in the toy or kids industry is essential.
- Portfolio showcasing relevant design work, particularly in packaging and print.
- Familiarity with in-store display design and brand design is a plus.
- Understanding of printing processes and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
