A Brief Overview
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is developing an educational program focused on blood pressure management in children under three years old, titled "Blood Pressure Under 3." This initiative will encompass education, training, and implementation, with the goal of formalizing and standardizing the process for accurately obtaining and recording blood pressures in high-risk children under three. The program aims to improve the quality and consistency of care through targeted education and best practice protocols.
The Nurse education coordinator will serve as our key liaison and advocate for the project between our partner sites and our clinicians.
The education coordinator will be accountable for the day to day program coordination by interfacing with multiple professionals, including but not limited to nurse management, the Magic Mila Foundation (MMF), Baxter, the project QI specialist, project leadership, and data analysts. The coordinator's primary functions will include education, outreach, knowledge sharing, IRB submission and toolkit production.
